Moodmapper Mobile OFFLINE EDITION
Using Microsoft® ActiveSync®

By setting up ActiveSync and Internet Explorer with a 'mobile favorite' it's easy to deliver new moodmapper content to you device each time you synchronize. Here's how you set it up:

What You Need:
Desktop PC connected to the Internet
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5
A PocketPC powered device

 

 


Step 1: Setting Up a Mobile Favorite

 
  • You will be prompted with the following:

  • Click on 'OK' to add the favorite
     
 

Step 2: Setting Favorites Options

  • Open the 'Favorites' menu and then click on 'Organize Favorites'.
  • In the 'Organize Favorites' dialog box, click the 'Mobile Favorites' folder and select 'Moodmapper Mobile'.
  • Click the 'Properties' button, as shown below:


 

 
  • In the window that appears choose the 'Download' tab, and then enter a '3' in the number of links deep to download, as shown below:
    (This tells your browser to load all of our offline site, not just this single page)

  • Click 'OK' and then 'Close' the Organize Favorites window.
     

Getting the Latest Version of the Site

You can select 'Synchronize' from Internet Explorer 'tools' menu at any time to cause Internet Explorer to update with the lastest version of the Moodmapper Mobile. Each time you do this, a new selection of listings are picked automatically for you.
 

 

Synchronize Your Device

Now that you've set up a mobile favorite for moodmapper mobile, ActiveSync will download the chosen pages to your PocketPC device each time you synchronize. Just make sure that you have 'Favorites' checked in your 'Options' when you synchronize.


 

 

Viewing Moodmapper Mobile on your PocketPC

Open Internet Explorer on your PocketPC device and click the favorites icon at the bottom of the screen, as shown below:

Moodmapper Mobile will appear on your favorites list. Click on the favourite to view the site offline.
